Who can submit their work to The Crossroads Review?
Submissions are open to students aged 11–22. If you’re passionate about storytelling or art and fall within this age range, we’d love to see your work!
What types of submissions do you accept?
We accept a variety of creative works, including:

Illustrations and visual art

How do I submit my work?
Visit our Submissions Page and follow the instructions to submit your work. Make sure to adhere to the guidelines for formatting and file types.
Is there a fee to submit?
No, submissions to The Crossroads Review are completely free.
Do contributors get paid for their work?
At this time, we are unable to offer payment to contributors. However, we provide a platform to showcase your creativity and connect with an engaged, like-minded audience.
Can I submit previously published work?
We prefer original, unpublished work. If your piece has been previously published, let us know where it appeared, as some exceptions may apply.
Do you retain the rights to my work if it’s published?
No. All rights remain with the creator. We only ask for the right to publish your work in our magazine and archive it on our website.
Can I get involved beyond submitting my work?
Absolutely! We’re always looking for volunteers to help with editing, outreach, and community engagement. If you’re interested, please contact us via email.
How long does it take to hear back about my submission?
Our response time is typically two weeks to a month, but we often review submissions quickly and may get back to you sooner. We appreciate your patience as we carefully consider each piece!
